When can I arrive?
From Monday to Friday we welcome you from 15:00 for check-in, Saturday and Sunday arrival is possible from 16:00.
When do I have to leave?
We don't want you to leave - but the check-out time is 11 a.m. at the latest.
What are my arrival options?
You can drive directly to the lodge by car and park there. Alternatively, you can take the train to Flensburg station. From Flensburg, take the bus to Glücksburg (Schwennaustraße stop). From the bus stop it is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to us.
Where do I park my car & is parking free?
You have a free, private parking space in front of each lodge. If you arrive with several cars, you can park the remaining cars free of charge in our large parking lot.
We ask you to leave the holiday property as you would like to find it yourself - tidy and well-kept.
Even if a final cleaning is planned, the holiday property must be left tidy and swept clean.
This includes:
- Washing the dishes and emptying the dishwasher
- Remove any dirt in the kitchen, on work surfaces and in the dining area
- Empty the fridge and remove all food
- Empty all rubbish bins
- Clean the barbecue
- Remove any dog mess (e.g. hair or dirt).
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the sofa or in the bed in order to be considerate of other guests who may be allergic. Non-compliance may result in additional cleaning costs.
We also ask you to leave both the inside and outside of the holiday property tidy. Should additional cleaning work be necessary, we will charge for this on the basis of the additional work actually required.
The town of Glücksburg levies a visitor's tax in accordance with the Visitor's Tax Statutes 2022:
01.10. - 31.03.: EUR 1.50 per day/adult (from 18 years)
01.04. - 30.09.: EUR 3.00 per day/adult (from 18 years)

What is already included when I book a lodge?
High-quality bed linen, small and large towels and sauna towels are included. The initial equipment also includes toilet paper, soap, coffee pods, tea towels, washing-up liquid, sponge, cloths and bin liners.
Do I have WLAN in my lodge?
Yes, you have WLAN reception in every lodge.
How is my lodge technically equipped?
- little pearl: flat-screen TV, WMF coffee filter machine, Nespresso, tab machine, underfloor heating, electric bathroom window, hairdryer, induction stove, fridge with freezer compartment
- Big hluck & above the sea: flat screen TV in every room, Marantz sound system, electric fireplace, dishwasher, sauna with eucalyptus infusion at the touch of a button, washing machine with dryer function, electric windows, underfloor heating, WMF coffee filter machine, Nespresso machine, induction stove, hairdryer in every bathroom, fridge with freezer compartment.
You are welcome to bring your dog to Glück in Sicht!
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the sofa or in the bed. Any mess such as hair or dirt must be removed before you leave, otherwise we will charge you for the additional cleaning work required.
Going for a walk? Please outside the grounds. Make sure you keep your dog on a lead. Leashes are compulsory on the Glück in Sicht grounds. Please save your energy for the dog beach.
Take care of your paws! The bathtub and shower should only be used by two-legged friends. Attention, risk of scratching!
How do I book extras such as highchairs, bicycles, etc.?
Highchairs are available free of charge. A baby crib can be booked for a small extra charge. Please let us know how much equipment you need before you arrive. You are welcome to contact us with any other requests. Either send us a message or contact us on: +49 (0)4631 44435-0.
Are there barbecue facilities on the premises?
Yes, we rent out high-quality electric Weber barbecues for a fee (€5 per day). We provide these on your terrace. It is not possible to bring your own barbecue for insurance reasons.

Whether it's a fishing trip, restaurant reservation or yoga class: we are happy to help you with the organization. Talk to us!
Can I bring my dog with me?
Yes, dogs are very welcome! We charge €20 per night for their stay. So that we can make the best possible arrangements for you and your four-legged companion, please let us know before you arrive.
How many people can stay in the lodge I have booked?
Please note that the vacation accommodations may only be occupied by the persons listed in the reservation confirmation and up to the maximum number of persons specified in the accommodation description.
How many people are the lodges suitable for?
Little pearl: for up to 2 adults and a baby (in a crib)
Big Luck: for up to 4 adults, 4 children and 2 babies (in cribs)
Above the sea: for up to 6 adults, 4 children and 3 babies (in baby cribs)

What are the terms of payment?
A deposit of 50% of the total price is due at the time of booking. We are happy for you to pay this within one week. Please settle the remaining amount at least 60 days before your arrival.
